ASIA PACIFIC POTASH CORPORATION

Asia Pacific Potash Corporation Co., Ltd. (APPC), also known as the Udon Potash Project, holds the rights granted by the Ministry of Industry to explore and produce potash in the Udon Thani province area. Exploration has identified two high-quality potash deposits: the Udon South deposit and the Udon North deposit. The plan is to develop the Udon South deposit first.

The project comprises 4 mining concession application areas located in parts of Non Sung, Nong Phai, and Nong Khon Kwang Sub-districts (Mueang Udon Thani District), and parts of Na Muang and Huai Sam Phat Sub-districts (Prachaksinlapakhom District), Udon Thani Province. The total area covers 26,446 Rai, 1 Ngan, 49 Square Wah (approximately 4,231 hectares or 42.3 sq km). Exploration in the project area indicates the potash deposit is relatively flat-lying at a depth of approximately 300-400 meters from the surface, with an average ore layer thickness of 3-4 meters and an average grade of 23.50%. This is considered one of the world’s high-quality potash deposits. The project timeline includes an estimated 2 years for construction, 21 years for mining operations, and 2 years for mine closure and rehabilitation. The maximum production capacity is targeted at 2 million tons of potash ore per year.
